NEON FLUX — Privacy Policy

Last updated 18 September 2026

NEON FLUX collects nothing. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no server. It makes no network requests of any kind. Everything the game remembers stays on your device.

What the game stores, and where

The game saves your progress locally using the operating system's standard app preferences storage, inside the app's own private container. None of it is transmitted anywhere.

WhatWhy
Pilot name and chosen colourShown on your HUD and on the local leaderboard.
Scores, level, XP, best comboProgression and the on-device leaderboard.
Unlocked cosmetics and daily challenge progressSo progress survives closing the game.
Local player profilesSo several people can play on one device and keep separate progress.
Audio and haptics preferencesSo your settings persist.

The pilot name is whatever you type. It never leaves your device, so please note it will appear on the screen of the device you are playing on — that is its only purpose.

What the game does not do

Local network (Apple TV only)

On Apple TV, local multiplayer discovers other Apple TVs on the same Wi-Fi network using Apple's device-to-device framework. If you use it, the game broadcasts a game session on your local network so nearby devices can find it, and exchanges gameplay state directly between the devices taking part. This traffic never leaves your local network and does not pass through any server operated by us or anyone else. It is used only while a multiplayer match is being set up or played. The other Apple TV platforms — iPhone, Mac and Apple Watch — do not use the network at all.

Children

NEON FLUX does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because there is no collection, transmission, or third-party sharing, there is nothing to disclose under COPPA or the GDPR provisions covering children's data.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes everything it stored, because all of it lives in the app's own container. There is no server-side copy to request the deletion of, and nothing to export.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA and comparable laws, you have rights of access, correction, deletion and portability over personal data a company holds about you. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to give you, correct, or erase. Your data is already entirely in your own possession on your own device.

Changes

If a future version of the game starts collecting anything — for example if online leaderboards are ever added — this page will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described in the App Store release notes.
